Nonprofit Datafolk Club: communicating data accessibly

Communicating data accessibly

Our March Nonprofit Datafolk Club will be discussing how to communicate data accessibly. How do you make sure your data visualisations are clear and inclusive? What do you need to consider when telling a data story to ensure it is accessible? What do you think are the most important accessibility factors to consider?

Maybe you are just starting to include accessibility guidance into your data visualisations, maybe you are wondering how to go beyond just changing a colour scheme, or maybe you don’t know where to start with communicating data accessibly. There is lots to explore in this month’s Datafolk Club.

About our Nonprofit Datafolk Club

Datafolk Club is our monthly get together of data folk from nonprofits. We meet on Teams for an hour-long facilitated discussion. It’s a great way to meet other data folk from nonprofits and discuss matters of mutual interest.

This is a discussion and peer learning session not a webinar. So come along ready to participate for the full hour.

What’s more, it’s free.

Previous attendees have said:

It was useful to speak to people from other organisations to hear what they are doing. Talking about the challenges we're facing here was helpful and I came away with a clearer understanding of our position.

and

The format works really well
