Workshop: Data products that have an impact in nonprofits

About this event

The latest of our Data-Folk Club workshops focuses on how we can make sure our data products have an impact.

Data products could be maps, charts, dashboards, reports, or a wide range of other things. Data folk in nonprofits, perhaps more than in any other sector, are conscious that they want their work to have an impact on society.

That doesn't always happen.

Beautiful dashboards can sit unused by the teams they were built for, reports can be overlooked, spreadsheets can be ignored.

So what can we do to make data products that will really be used and have an impact on the work of the organisation? This workshop will invite data folk like you to discuss these questions and share your challenges and solutions with your peers.

Our Second Thursday Club workshops are a simple format. We work in small breakout rooms to share knowledge, experience and inspiration. The workshop lasts one hour and takes place online. It's a great way to meet other people like you: working with data in nonprofit organisations.
